Dog Grooming & Courses East Sussex

This course has been designed for those who want a career in dog grooming, it includes the level 3 City & Guilds qualification. It will teach you all the skills required and lots of hands-on experience with a wide range of dog breeds. You are required to have completed Level 2 to attend this course. This course will give you an additional professional grooming qualification. It includes all revision material.

You will be taught:

  • Correct handling of dogs
  • Checking health and recognizing problems
  • Basic first aid for dogs
  • Styling to breed standard or owners requirements
  • Clipping, scissoring and hand stripping
  • Ear, nail, anal gland and teeth maintenance
  • Health and safety in the salon
  • Guidance in running your own salon and customer relations
  • Professional Pet First Aid
