Course for people who want a career in dog grooming, to become professional groomers, and who wish to complete the full Level 3 Diploma qualification. Students will acquire all the necessary skills, and get a lot of experience with a large number of dog breeds. Students will need to have completed the Level 2 in order to qualify for this course. By attending this course, you will complete your professional grooming qualification.

During this course, you will learn:

  • To handle dogs correctly
  • To check the dog's health and learn to recognize problems
  • Basic First Aid
  • To style dogs to breed standard
  • To style dogs to the owner's requirements
  • The following grooming techniques: clipping, scissoring and hand stripping
  • To check and clean dogs' ears, nails, anal glands and teeth
  • Health and safety in the salon
  • All the required guidance to run your own dog grooming salon
  • Guidance in dealing with customers
  • Professional Pet First Aid
