Dog Grooming & Courses London & Middlesex

This all inclusive City & Guilds course, combining Level 2 and Level 3, will enable you to go from novice to a fully qualified dog groomer.
You will need to complete 300 guided learning hours to complete the Level 3 diploma, which will be shared as follows :

  • 28 days of practical training in the salon for hands-on experience
  • 150 hours home study (time logged in)

You will learn to groom a wide variety of breeds and learn all the techniques of dog grooming, and grooming to breed standard.

The tuition includes:

  • handling dogs in the correct manner
  • health checking
  • pet First Aid qualification
  • running of a salon
  • grooming and styling to breed standard or to owners requirements
  • clipping, scissoring and hand stripping
  • ear, nail and teeth checking and maintenance
  • health and safety in the salon

You will gain:

  • the Level 2 & 3 City & Guilds qualifications
  • a certificate in animal handling
  • a business management certificate
