Dog Grooming & Courses Essex

This course is designed for people with no prior experience in dog grooming but who wish to learn. It will teach you all the skills and knowledge to complete dog styling on your own.  You will also gain a recognised qualification.

You will be taught :

  • Handling and health checking of the dogs
  • brushing out
  • bathing and drying
  • Health and safety within the salon

And 4 techniques :

  • clipping
  • scissoring
  • handstriping
  • grooming out 

You will be taught the basic head, body, tail and ear shapes of most breeds.

By the end of this course you will be a confident groomer.

This course is a prerequisite to Level 3 (7863-03).
